Horizon House began as a dream when Katrina received a small inheritance after her mother's passing. We wanted to have a special place that would honor her mom. The dream was simple... to have a comfortable house on the coast that we could use as a family with an occasional guest. God turned it into a much bigger project! As we proceeded with the plans for the home it was obvious that God wanted us to build a retreat home that could be used by our family but also for others to get away for spiritual renewal and rest. We began construction in 2002 and the home was finished in 2004 after overcoming many hurdles along the way. It is our hope that you will find refreshment for your souls in this special place we call Horizon House.

Our home is situated on a large lot overlooking the ocean with the beach only a five minute walk away. There are views from multiple vantage points inside and outside the home. The house is located only 1.75 hours from Portland and one hour from Salem and just 20 minutes north of Lincoln City. We are right off Highway 101 on the cliff above Winema Beach. Come relax and enjoy a peaceful retreat.
